I'M SO FUCKING PISSED
I HAVEN'T BEEN THIS PISSED IN A LONG WHILE.
Let me restate the notice outside the ~*♥library♥*~
Reading @ BT (the library's name) aims to get children aged up to 12 years to read.
Open the public but only members may borrow books.
I went there again. I was thinking of going there to study, and if they won't let me in I'll ask about my letter
and demand why they haven't replied me.
There was a new librarian (indian woman) so I was happy and i like indians and thought maybe she'll be less strict. So I went in.
Librarian: Can I help you?
Me: *shakes head*
Librarian: Then what are you doing here? Only children are allowed in.
Me: I'm a child.
Librarian: Are you below 12 years old?
Me: No.
Librarian: Then you cannot come in here.
Me: But the notice outside doesn't state that I can't come in here.
Librarian:
(takes out notice) No see look here we already state it in the rules
Me: it says open to public and im the public
Librarian: Oh yes? And did you read the whole thing?
Me: Ya
Librarian: You sure? See the first sentence?
Me: (
reads) "Reading@BT aims to get children up to age 12 to read" Ya? So?
Librarian: The rules say you cannot come in if you're not 12.
Me: No it does not.
Librarian: Yes it does, read it.
Me: No look, that does not mean I'm not allowed to go in.
Librarian: Read again it says you cannot go in!
Me: Look, this is just the aims, just the goals. It does not equate "PEOPLE ABOVE 12 CANNOT GO IN"
Librarian: I've been trying to explain to you for so long, what part of it do you not understand? (
oh dear me, what part, what part?)The management already say that you cannot go in?
Me:Then you should change the notice because it doesn't say it.
Librarian: Just for YOU, YOU, ONE PERSON?
Me: Not just for me but for everybody who's been chased out! I've seen so many people being chased out!
Librarian: And how do you know? Have you been here for 5 hours? (
wts why she ask me? you chase me out first thing i go in, how to be here for 5 hours? ^_^)
(Now she starts admitting that she chases people out) Even the senior citizen come in and want to read newspaper we say cannot. I've seen teens your age go in and they go in and chat non stop and make alot of noise and when we tell them silence, can they say we never tell them to be silent? Library have to be silent one right?
Me: (
thinks: what the fucking cheebye are you rambling) Uh.. *points at 1000 signs saying "SILENCE! NO FOOD"* Also, I come in here and I didn't make noise!
Librarian: (changes topic) I am part of the management! And we say you cannot come in! If you want to come in fine, bring your friend below 12 inside!
Me: The notice says that it's OPEN TO PUBLIC! But you're chasing out everybody who tries to enter!
Librarian: I am NOT chasing you out, I am asking you politely!
Me: YOU
ARE CHASING ME OUT.
Librarian: I am asking you politely to leave!
(Fucking kaobehkaobu lah this person. Don't you hate it when someone says they're not doing something just because you're using a harsh phrase to describe what they're doing? Overall, aren't they doing the same thing? Like when I was a shitty student and my school was going to expel me, I asked the school "So ya gonna kick me out?" And they say OH NO NOT KICKING U OUT, JUST TRANSFERRING U TO ANOTHER SCHOOL ^_^. FUCK? DON'T YOU MEAN THE SAME THING? What pussies.)
ANYWAY. She took out my angry
letter-
Librarian: Are you the one who wrote this letter?
Me: Yes I did, and
why didn't you call me?!
Librarian: I am busy. Very busy!
Me: Okay.
Librarian: So well, you can't be in here.
Me: Okay then you shouldn't put that misleading notice, because it doesn't explicitly state that PEOPLE ABOVE 12 CANNOT COME IN! You should change the notice so that people don't come in and get chased out! It's so misleading!
Libarian: But it will be too
rude to put that on the library front door.
(Oh, she just admitted that it wasn't in the rules because it's too, well, "
rude"! So let's chase out everybody who can't translate "Library aims to get kids to read" into "Library only allows kids"!!! ^_^ SOooOOoo polite nehs~*!!! ^w^)
Me: Well this is important and you should write it on the front door so that we don't go in! It should be "Only children up to 12 years old are allowed to enter"!
Librarian: What about the parents accompanying the children? Huh? What about that?
(LOLCUCUMBER she said it in a triumphant tone as if that justified everything)
Me: "People above 12 year old are not allowed to enter unless accompanied by children below 12 year old" LOR.
Librarian: (takes out paper) So you want to CHANGE OUR RULES? Write it down here I pass it to the management.
Me: I am not changing your rules!
Librarian: YOU ARE! You just asked me to change our rules! Just write it down here! I'll pass it to the management.
Me: (thinks: The fuck? I'm just trying to make your notice say what you actually want?)
FINE.
Look, if I were the librarian, I'd say to this obnoxious girl in front of me "
LOLS SOLI, TRUE, WE NEVER MAKE RULES CLEAR BUT WAT CAN U DO HAH? ITS OUR LIBRY WE DO DAT LORS HOHOHO. AND WE SHALL CONTINUE BRING MISLEADING! U CANT DO ANYTHING NYEHNYEH. I SAY YOU CANNOT COME IN SO GET THE FUCK OUT, PERSON ABOVE 12. WAT U CAN DO? NUTHIN :D:D:D"
Instead of arguing that what they're trying to enforce is already in the notice, as the librarian I'd say that and piss me off real bad. And continue
surfing porn on the computer being busy. After all it's my goddamn library! I do what I want! But noooooo this person had to throw me all her false logic and piss me off so bad.
ANYWAY.
So I wrote on paper EXPLAINING to them how "
Library aims to get kids to read" =/= "
ONLY KIDS ARE ALLOWED" and what they should state on the front door.
"People above 12 may not enter unless they are accompanying a child below 12" Oh i was ~*totally*~ changing their rules ^w^
...How fucking dumb can people get?
Librarian: *reads and has no comment* OK so I'll pass this to the management and you can leave now.
Me: I want to clarify something-
Librarian: I DON'T WANT TO ARGUE WITH YOU

I wanted to scream STFU) I just want to make clear that this library will never allow us in right?

Me: Because I don't give a SHIT about all this if you guys are never letting us in.
Librarian: THINK WHATEVER YOU LIKE WAIT FOR THE MANAGEMENT TO REPLY

(just to piss her off) Yeah see? It's common sense, you take out this notice to anyone on the street and see if they can tell you that we're not allowed in? ^_^

Anyway she went into hysterics and I pissed her off so badly so I said thanks and left.
Yeah.
Of course, I was very condescending and rude. But look. I was in love with that place. I wasn't going to give it up for no reason. But I guess I have to since it's their library.
But they had to argue crap with me and that killed me. Look, it's been there for 3 fucking years and it's empty, what a bloody waste of AIRCON AND SOFA AND TREE. I had to fight back until they go crazy.
It's also an OCD. I expect all the rules to be STATED. CLEARLY. I mean, of course I will not walk into library naked and expect them to write there "NO ENTERING LIBRARY UNCLOTHED". That's unreasonable of me.
But what I am requesting is reasonable. I am requesting them to NOT BE MISLEADING. To write down an IMPORTANT RULE. Sure it's rude, you said so. But if you're enforcing it don't be a
pussy and not write it for all to see. 做事要光明正大嘛！！
Most of the time I'm a peaceful creature. I hate arguing because I believe most of the time I am wrong. I'm very unsure of myself. I am very tolerant of the shit people do to me. I don't want to hurt them so if they're doing something unreasonable I will accept it for the sake of maintaining good relationships.
I am a submissive person and I never say no.
But when I feel strongly about something, when I feel that i'm right and somebody is doing something so stupid that it kills my brain, I get very condescending and I'll FIGHT TILL THEY CANNOT FIGHT ANYMORE AND DRIVE THEM CRAZY. Believe me I will. If you're mean to my friend, especially online, you get it from me. I'll flame you like mad. I WIL GET ALL MY INTERNET FRENZ 2 PWN U.
But that's only when someone goes against any values I feel strongly for, which is rare.
