My bf was talking to this girl on the phone a lot. I called him out on it, he said the girl was just lonely and needed company. So I let it slide. Then one day I saw that his phone wallpaper was no longer me - it was another girl I dislike!! WTF! I confronted him and he said "well, her smile was calming!" I was so devastated and didn't know if I should break up...
Then I woke up and saw actual bf sleeping soundly.
I tried to go back to sleep to re-enter the dream and break up with the cheating asshole version of him, but failed.

Saw my favourite band, Mew, in San Francisco!
When I listened to them, I was transported back to my high school days. And somehow I felt everything would be alright. The sound amazing live, given how complex their songs are. And Jonas' voice just floats my worries away. L..like a melancholic angelic kitten ascending to heaven

I just need to work out life's priorities and juggle a full time job into the equation. I like my job a lot, and if I stopped stressing myself out, I would enjoy life a lot more. Maybe it would ease my mind and I'd pay less attention to myself and more on others.
I'm headed to Vienna and Budapest in October (my first time in Europe omg!!)

Okay so i got tickets to camp symmetry which is this hipster music festival.
Here's the lineup. I only know like 3 bands here..

matcha cookies
These cookies (recipe here) are a hit with my friends and are incredibly easy to make.
If you're wondering where to find green tea powder in Singapore, they sell those at Phoon Huat!
One tiny bottle is like $4 but you only need one tablespoon to make like 30+ cookies so the powder is actually really strong.
Alternatively you can get 1kg bag of matcha powder for like, $80 lol.

Hehe so u know i have a habit of buying lots of snacks and never finishing them but anyway here are some food i tried and recommend!!
Greentea biscuits
Katong 112 has a dainty little japanese snack stall and i went on a matcha snack spree D:
1. Butternut squash with sweet potato soup ($3.90) is amazing just heat it up it's a great midnight snack
2. The M&S at Jem has a bakery (not sure about other outlets) and they sell mini White Chocolate Lemon Muffins in a pack of 8 ($7.90). I microwave it for about a minute and eat it hot and it is ssososoosooo good!!
3. Shortbread is good, bf loves those. I love them even more when i dip them in cream*!
4. muthafukin' chocolate cornflake mini bites ($11) are addictive as shit and also fuck expensive DO NOT GET THEY ARE TOO GOOD!!!
*Blueberries with cream is also awesome

Myojo chilli crab instant noodle

Apart from indomee mee goreng, this is one of my favourite instant noodles. The noodle cake is a large serving and damn those noodles are sooo fragrant they are the opposite of farts. It doesn't really taste like chilli crab but I like whatever's in the seasoning packet.

I think i'm much less afraid of admitting i'm vain because i saw this tumblr post that taught me there's no harm in being vain and wanting to look good. It is really sad but society definitely rewards individuals who are conventionally better looking (´Д｀。) Especially if you're a woman. It really sucks when women are expected to put in more effort in looking pretty and then get labelled vain and shallow for caring about that.
I rarely find myself looking good though, so i take selfies when it's a good face day.
Oh, I got my new Clinique eyeshadow from here and I like it a lot. It's just $10 with shipping.

Abigail and I went to batam for a day! Lol it was terrible. Nothing to buy or eat and the place was so dirty. Do not recommend.

I like the xx. But their music doesn't translate as well live as other bands.
The crowd ruined this for me. They danced to the xx like it was clubbing music, and some shouted the lyrics. Nigga this is the xx ur supposed to shut ur pie hole and just sit there and listen ok sit the fuck down!!!
Okay, but they're really not bad live. I just don't think it was as amazing as most people said it was. It's the first concert that didn't give me a concert-high. Maybe I was just tired.
Oh, this was the day I found out Mew is coming to Singapore. Mew. Guys, that's my all time favourite band. I was planning to go to Denmark to see them. But they're coming here. I'm still considering going to their KL show because they'll be playing longer there. I will not go overseas for any band other than Mew. They're just that special to me! I was sooosoososos happy to hear the news!!! (｡’▽’｡)♡
2. Fall out boy
Apart from being kicked in the head by a girl who tried to crowd surf, this concert was really amazing!!!!!! Fall out boy is one of my favourite bands. I love love love the newest album!
The Phoenix was underwhelming, but the rest of the songs were awesome and we sang along and bounced to them ヾ(´〇｀)ﾉ （＾Ｏ＾☆♪
