I don't know why women on imgur or reddit (male populated sites) have to apologise when they post a selfie. I don't get why girls get shamed online for submitting selfies. If you don't like it, just press next and move on. Why make these girls feel so bad about themselves til they have to apologise and feel bad for it.
I don't know how our government can spend on billion dollar projects like Gardens by the Bay when I still see
limping elderly cleaning up hawker center tables. I wish I could fight for them but I don't know how.
...is a term men love to use prolifically on Singaporen women who date white men. Oh guys, why so bitter? Why do you have to comment on women's dating choices?? Ah, because they are not dating you?? Just know that when you use that term I immediately see you as a jealous and bitter dude.

My university friends say this to me
even when I'm not drawing/just doodling random shit! I draw the same nice curly hair because it's therapeutic for
me!!!! Currently, I don't draw to impress anyone. They could say that when I'm working on something serious (serious = stuff I actually put effort into to post online), but people back in JC never told me what I should/shouldn't draw. :/
Worse is, I really take the words to heart and feel inferior about myself. And I don't know why because they don't draw. I don't know how to tell them to stop without sounding defensive/arrogant either.
I don't even doodle often now. I would like to draw to improve my skills but uni has sucked out all the time from me. I think I haven't touched my copics for a year. When I reach home, I'm just
so fucking tired. Working so hard so that I can still go to CMU in two years.
I wanted to start a web comic site [
mushy doodles] and draw comics about shibes and twitch plays pokemon but I just don't have the time. (T.T ) Fuuuuck.

You know about those douches on public transport that others frequently complain about? I'm the douche!!!
On mostly campus buses...
- when it is my stop and people start streaming out, it is very hard for people who are seated to get out of their seats. Well, I simply shove my bag in front of them to make them stop walking and then I cut in.
- I scoot all the way to the front of the queue to get on the bus.
- I never give way!!
I wouldn't have to do this if campus buses weren't so fucking crowded everytime! I decided there was no point being nice and passive - I'd miss buses or have to stand on the steps. Really, when you've been in NUS for this long, the only way to get seats on buses is to push past everyone and never give way.

Come on NUS, you've clearly increased your cohort intake... do the same for buses pls!! You got so much extra $$$ from the school fees. So many people are late because you don't provide enough buses.

I did a VS theme I call

C++ only lol. Based loosely off the Monokai theme.
After installing VS2010, then VS2013, then VS2012 (because fucking QT won't work on VS2013 as of yet), and reconfiguring the theme over and over, I decided to save the theme somewhere.
CS2103 students pls take note -
VS2012 + QT 32-bit is your best option until they release an updated QT.
WHY AM I WASTING TIME ON THIS
But anyway, I got max marks for both individual assignments.
We are working on the project now and it's quite hard and I'm giving myself a lot of pressure to make it nice.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Actually, I have a lot of topics to talk about but they accumulated and I got too lazy to fill 'em in. Like

So I'll just post the short ones first.
My workload got heavier but I will try to update. I update my
tumblr and instagram a lot more than here.

I was singled out as (or at least, they implied that I was) a
weak programmer among my group, by a teacher who hadn't seen me/us write a line of code. They said the rest of my group were "
clearly geeks" while I was just
the "artist"... and that they were "much stronger programmers". I felt maligned, and told them my grades for all my programming subjects. They apologised, but now I feel scared of being judged and stereotyped.
We have to put a photo up for our software engineering project manual and I wanted to put a photo I thought I looked pretty in but I chose a photo with glasses instead, to look more "geeky".
I don't want my marker to think I didn't do anything for it because I don't look like a programmer.

After all, me with glasses is closer to the "passionate programmer" stereotype. The passionate programmer who lives for code, and abandons appearance, hygiene and social life to code. Which i think is ridiculous... who is actually like that?!
Stereotypes are harmful.
edit: oops, here's a little bit of context. My teacher is actually quite nice. She said those things because she noticed I didn't participate much in an online discussion. I think she didn't have any bad intentions, though it seemed a little hasty to conclude that I was a weaker programmer from the discussion. And then I got reminded of this article,

B+ for CS2105 Introduction to Networks.

I was failing all the way before finals, so I must have done really well for
finals. And I couldn't have done it without my TA's help.
I did work hard for finals. So I'm
really glad.
Also, I don't remember a thing I learned for the module.

I met my
CS3240 Human Computer Interaction professor in the lift with my friend. She said "hi".
I asked how she recognised us... and she said she remembers my drawings.

I asked a question in EL1101E lecture today.
The teacher said it was out of syllabus but it was interesting I asked it.
He started explaining the concept...

I was like omg no this has gone too far :((
And then he said asians should speak up more and ask questions during lecture. He was very happy.
And then he asked the whole lecture hall to applaud me.

But honestly, I find it ironic because I'm usually the last person to speak up. So I'm pretty proud of myself for actually voicing out something!

driving
I went for refresher driving courses in the holidays.
It went alright.
The instructor actually told me my driving is "quite good."
I said I'd sign up for more lessons soon.
And he said I didn't need them because
I was already quite good.
I don't know if it's true but it certainly makes me feel a lot better after the accident happened. I am less afraid to die on the road.
But sometimes I still get anxiety when I see cars and buses... they are just killing machines in my eyes. :(

TheRadiodept concert!
The concert was very up close and
personal.
I
was just one metre in front of the lead singer, so I don't have a
picture of all of them in one photo, coz I was too near. It was very
nice to listen to them live even though I wished they brought a
keyboard to play during the concert.
Still, I did win the tickets from
the 99.5FM radio contest so no complaints there.
Free concert to one of your favourite bands is one of the best gifts in life :)
Also
I leaped up the stage and ripped off two setlists, one for lulu and one
for myself. Lots of people came up to us after that to take photo of it
lol. Most daring thing I did for ages!! ^^

I ordered 100% sugar bubble tea.

I asked for sauce.

NO APOLOGY, REPLACEMENT SAUCE N DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO INFORM ME BEFOREHAND THAT YOU RAN OUT OF SAUCE?
Being a nice person I just paid for and ate the sauceless spaghetti. :(
Trip #3
OKAY THIS ONE IS THE WORST!!!!
I WAS REALLY IN NEED OF PUDDING MILK TEA!!
So I went to eskimo and there was no queue. However, there was a single server making drinks.
I waited at the counter for
TWENTY FUCKING MINUTES!
JUST STANDING THERE, doing random shit with my phone.
Finally, the server girl came up to me.
And I
made my order and paid the $$$.
She said, "
Oh btw, we're out of red tea, so there's just green tea."
I said, "Wait, why didn't you tell me this before making me wait 20 minutes?
"
She replied curtly, "So you want a refund?"
I sighed and said, "Just give me the refund."
Then she turned away and went to take more orders!!
i waited impatiently for my refund for another 5 minutes.
THEN SHE
HANDED ME A DRINK.
I was like
um, i asked for a refund.
She looked at me blankly.
Then she took out money and passed it to me.
No apology AT ALL.
Cheebye!!!!!
After making me wait 25 minutes for nothing, all i get is rudeness and no bubble tea. Wtf!!
Then I tried calling the feedback hotline, which was not available despite the business card saying it was!
I sent it an SMS, and my phone said the person has read it, but guess what? No reply.
I give up.
